About SCIS

The SCIS team manages a range of subscription-based products specifically for the needs of school libraries throughout Australia, New Zealand and overseas. As part of Education Services Australia, SCIS is directly responsible to the Education Services Australia Board, which comprises experts across a range of fields including education, governance, information and communication technology, business and marketing. Cataloguing agencies supported by education departments in New South Wales and Western Australia as well as additional contract cataloguers located in Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane, Christchurch and Dunedin contribute catalogue records to the database and make invaluable contributions to both SCIS Subject Headings and the SCIS Cataloguing Standards.
