1 SCIS is MORE – book cover images in SCIS OPAC
SCISWeb subscribers searching in SCIS OPAC will notice that many of the catalogue records for books now display a book cover image. This enhancement allows schools to copy the image for inclusion only in their library management system.
2 SCIS subscriptions 2008
The cost of a subscription to SCISWeb, SCIS Subject Headings Online and SCIS Authority Files will not increase in 2008. In October 2007, invoices will be despatched to schools not involved in a bulk subscription. 3 SCIS Authority Files Online subscription
All SCIS Authority Files subscribers have access to the online version with their SCISWeb user name and password. On the SCIS Customer Centre page, there is a button that links to the online version. From 2008 the SCIS Authority Files CD-ROM version will be provided to subscribers who specify that they require this format.
A response form is provided in the SCIS Authority Files CD-ROM Edition 2, 2007 delivery, due in schools in mid-August. Please respond if you require the CD-ROM version.
